The CookHouse Herne Bay - passionate about food and service.

Here at the CookHouse Herne Bay we work with many local producers and suppliers to bring you the very best food to your plate so your meal is enjoyed and leaves you wanting more.


Our front of house staff are keen to ensure your meal and service goes beyond your expectations. 


Our menu strives to offer a range of food from traditional Sunday Roast, succulent steaks, fresh fish, farm produced gourmet beef burgers including gluten free and vegetarian options all freshly cooked by our chefs. 


The CookHouse Herne Bay is located right next to the Pier in Herne Bay, overlooking the sea so we have a full range of seafood platters and seafood to eat in or take away. 


We hand pick our meat, fish and grocery daily, all is then prepared in our kitchen by our team of dedicated chefs. W e serve great food not fast food, as every meal is cooked to order and seen by the Head Chef before leaving the kitchen.


As we are located in the Garden of England the fresh fruit used within our desserts is extensive, as is the choice of the 20 different flavours of locally produced award winning Solley’s ice cream and Canterbury Cheese Company cheeses and preserves.


Our wine list has all the usual suspects from full bodied red, to zingy whites and bubbles for any occasion…we have a Premium German lager on draft and 10 speciality gins to choose from.
